Her Viet fans sent her something for her birthday (1st October) and she received it :)

27 Nov 09 - Gigi and her family eats buffet.

Gigi, her husband, her brother and her parents went out for a buffet at a Japanese restaurant.
Lai Ying's condition has improved and no longer needs to stay at the hospital.
Gigi got a new home with all kinds of equipments and machines for her brother and parents. She also hired physical therapists to help her brother.

Gigi's also holding a Hermès Birkin, probably one of her favourite bags because she's always seen with it.

Lantern Street represented a nickname for abandonment. Under the shadow of the neon lights, you would come face to face with those living on the streets, sleeping without any shelters. Gigi Lai Licks Moses Chan's Feet, Thinks He Will Win Best Actor Award This Year

Gigi Lai, Moses Chan, Kevin Cheng, Yoyo Mung appeared yesterday at a promotional event for TVB anniversary series "The Ultimate Crime Fighter". Recently there were news reports saying TVB has divided into two factions, with Stephan Chan's side going against Virginia Lok's side. Gigi and Moses claimed they don't belong to any faction, they work for the company, so both Stephan and Virginia are their bosses.

In "The Ultimate Crime Fighter", Gigi will play an ugly looking girl while Moses plays a gigolo whose true identity is an undercover cop. There is a scene where Moses licks male actor Jungtang Wang's feet, at the event yesterday, Gigi imitated Moses and pretended to lick Moses' feet for him, causing much laughter.

The day before was Gigi's birthday, she spent the day at work, then visited her brother in hospital afterwards. Gigi says her brother is happy whenever he sees her, if he can't see her, he would cry and sulk, so she needs to visit him in hospital at least once at day. Her brother still needs to undergo two or three more operations.

This year, Yoyo Mung has three series "Heart of Greed", "Fathers and Sons", and "The Ultimate Crime Fighter", giving her a good chance for the best actress award. Gigi supports Moses to win the best actor award, she says he is very talented and hardworking, she wouldn't be surprised if he wins. As for best actress, she supports Lee See Kei to win because she has such great acting skills.

Constance still denies that she has a boyfriend (which is Derek).

Cute sister scene #3!
Sylvia: Wah, I thought you said you would treat us (her sisters) supper, but you cook us instant noodles instead.
Jessica: Both of you know that cooking instant noodles is one of my strengths. Cooking for both of you is already very good. And, I'm bankrupt now.
Constance: Mmm.. the noodles is not bad.
S: It's a Japanese product. The 6 dollars one is of course better than the 2 dollars one.
J: When I get my pay, I'll treat you to a big meal.
C: After you get your pay, don't you need to go buy things?
S: I don't know where all my new handbags went.
C: My new clothes are missing too.
J: Don't be like that, working at Melissa's is very pitiful. It's not only about your ability, it's also about your appearance. I'm facing a lot of pressure.. Big sister, of course you won't understand. You're the boss, you only order people to do things. 2nd sister, you wear a uniform and you don't need to date yet.
C: Wah, your boss is so troublesome. Do you have enough money to use?
J: I-
S: There you go again. Spoiling her...

Terrence visits Constance's workplace to buy a bracelet for his secretary. He also asks her out for lunch, but Constance rejected him because says she's 'busy'. Terrence thinks it's because of Derek.

Siu Yau sees Constance and Derek together. She scolds both of them.

Constance decides to secretly leave the house for a little while because she feels awkward facing her mother. But Siu Yau found out anyway.

Siu Yau looks for Kuan Ching and asks her for the truth.
Actually, KC has followed Derek for more than 10 years. KC was actually pregnant with Derek's baby but he asked her to abort the baby because he didn't like children. Siu Yau lies to KC, saying that Constance is pregnant.

KC goes to find Constance because she doesn't want Constance to be tricked by Derek. KC tells everything to Constance including that Sunny is not her boyfriend but Derek is.
After that, Constance asks Derek if he would have children with her. Derek says he is willing to have as many babies as possible. She also asked about Sunny but he is still lying about Sunny being with KC.
In the end, Constance admits that she found out about everything. They broke up.

Episode 16 didn't have much of Gigi in it.
Basically, Ching Yeung, Constance's dad thinks that Ah Fat is a liar.
This changes Constance's opinion of Ah Fat.

EPISODE 17

Mr. Kam, a MaBelle customer, left his wedding ring in the toilet (?!). Ah Fat helps Constance return the ring, and ends up injuring himself.

Constance accepts Derek's courtship.

Constance and June (her friend & colleague) met Terrence at a café. At that time, Constance disliked Terrence because he 'bullied' her on the yacht (in episode 7 and episode 8). So Constance put the water from the vase into his coffee.
Suddenly, someone fainted near the toilet. Constance thought it was Terrence. She told June what she did. But it turns out that it was not Terrence who fainted. Terrence overheard and said that it was fair because she put something in his coffee and he bullied her on the yacht. Terrence wanted to be Constance's friend. Constance said if they meet again, then they'll be friends. Terrence also wanted to know what she put in his coffee :P

Derek visited Constance at her workplace. But Constance didn't want their relationship to be known.
Derek also bought her a diamond ring.

Terrence's girlfriend poured coffee over his suit (broke up). Constance coincidentally met Terrence again. Terrence asked whether Constance could help him pick a new suit. Terrence looked into the mirror and asked Constance whether it was okay. She repeated what he said in episode 5 (Basically, she complimented him). They ate lunch together and Constance gave advice to Terrence about women. She asked him to buy something for his girlfriend from MaBelle (her workplace).
Derek saw them laughing and chatting happily. He got jealous and went over to scold Terrence.

Siu Yau spotted someone sending Constance home, but she did not know it was Derek.

The Gem of Life - Episode 15

Ah Fat (a.k.a Derek) pulled Kuan Ching away and they started arguing on the streets. Coincidentally, Constance met them. Luckily, Kenny lied. He said that Kuan Ching and him were a couple and were fighting, Ah Fat came to be the peacemaker. Constance believed him.
(At this scene, Constance was linking arms with Ah Fat and she asked him to call her? It sounds like they are already dating, but they are not o.O)

Constance is afraid of a dog (it's chained up). It barks at her. She was frightened and ran into Ah Fat.

They ate dinner at a restaurant. Turns out that Ah Fat purposely waited for her to finish her class to pick her up but he was late. Ah Fat gives her flowers and a heart-shaped ring. He asks her to be his girlfriend, but she rejects.

Bowie Lam Protects Gigi Lai From Eager Male Fan

Earlier this week, Gigi Lai, Bowie Lam, Sharon Chan, and Kenny Wong appeared in Beijing to promote TVB's establishment of its own network distribution in China. Gigi and Bowie have often appeared as onscreen lovers. At the promotional event, Bowie showed his attentiveness towards Gigi as well, taking her hand and leading her onstage. When an over eager male fan tried to get too close to Gigi to give her a hug, Bowie acted as "bodyguard" and blocked off the fan's advances.

Bowie held on to the male fan and said humorously, "Gigi, if you give permission for him to hug you, I will release him!"

Gigi said directly to the fan, "I think it's better for you to just hug Bowie instead!"

Bowie used his left arm to give Gigi a hug, while he used his right arm to hug the male fan. Then he said, "You've accomplished your goal now, right?" The male fan could only leave the stage at that point.

From "Healing Hands 3," "War and Beauty" to "Dance of Passion," Bowie and Gigi have collaborated on 3 series together. However their bond is very strong and at many promotional events, they appear together as a "couple." Bowie also admitted that since working with Gigi, they have always gotten along well together.

Jessica's company caught fire and thought Constance was still in it. Jessica became frantic with worry. But Constance already went back home before the office caught fire, so she was safe. Constance also found out that Jessica purposely asked her to go back to the office, so that she can have a chance with Wilson. Sylvia and Jessica (typo error) Constance decided to 'punish' Jessica by using rubber bands.
Haha Gigi's arms look toned and a tiny bit muscular here. LOL must be from all those martial arts when she was young.

Ah Fat invites the Hong family for lunch. Sylvia and Siu Yau both can see that Ah Fat has a crush on Constance. But both of them did not like Eddie.

The Gem of Life - Episode 12

Ah Fat becomes rich because Calvin is helping (tricking) him to get his money back from Mr. Suen.

Ah Fat visits Constance at the jewellery store. At first, Constance didn't recognize him because he changed his look. He invites her for dinner. They eat at a high-class restaurant and Constance teaches Ah Fat about table manners.

Cute sisters scene #2 :) Constance gave Jessica a dress to wear for the dinner. Then Sylvia came in and argued with Jessica. All 3 sisters end up playing with rubber bands!

MaBelle is holding an anniversary dinner. Ah Wor, Constance and Jessica (currently working for a PR company which is organizing the dinner) are all present. The booklets for the event were left in the office, Constance offered to help Jessica take them. But she was locked in and couldn't go back.
