The Gem of Life - Episode 44

As I said before, screencaps updates are gonna be really slow. Once again, I apologize for being so slow!

Terrence received an anonymous call, saying that they have kidnapped Constance and is asking for money in exchange. Terrence goes home and looks for her, but she is not there. Later on, he goes to his in-laws' house. He accuses Sylvia (and indirectly, Calvin) for kidnapping Constance. Siu Yau tells Terrence that she is certain that none of her daughters have anything to do with the kidnapping. Constance returns home in the middle of their argument, but she does not know anything about the kidnapping. She said that she returned from a day out with Jessica.

Constance bumps into Mr. Suen. They have a little chat, and Mr. Suen gives her some advice.

The police calls in Constance to ask her a few questions about Derek. Apparently, the police suspects Derek for kidnapping Mr. Suen. Of course, Constance is shocked to hear the news.

The Gem of Life - Episode 43

Sylvia arguing with Constance, her mom and Ying jie about Terrence (continuation from last episode).

This scene started out with Contance and Terrence being kinda lovey-dovey. Constance told Terrence about Sylvia accusing him of ordering people to beat Calvin up and asked him whether he was the one who did it. Terrence said he did not. But Constance wasn't too sure about his answer so Terrence got fed up. He gave her a peck on the forehead and left the house because "he did not want to argue with her".

Terrence got drunk and Sharon (Maria Chan) spotted him in his car. She took the opportunity to take a picture of them together.
Terrence was surprised to wake up in Jessica's house the next day (I think Sharon told Jessica about Terrence being drunk and brought him back to Jessica's house). Jessica tells Terrence to not hurt Constance's feelings.

Constance: Just came back from work?
Terrence: I specially came to see you.
Constance: Do you have time?
Terrence: I'm actually pretty busy. But every night when I return home and I want to see you, you have fallen asleep. I know that you are at the door sometimes, but you don't dare to come in because you don't want to disturb me. I have thought very clearly. Even if I'm busy with work, I realized it's not important anymore.
Constance: I hope you won't blame me for suspecting that you were the one who beat up Calvin.
Terrence: You suspected me because I did not put in enough effort to make you trust in me. The one to blame is not you, it is me.
*hug*
Terrence: I miss you.
Constance: Me too.
Terrence: Oh yeah, aren't you afraid of cold feet? I didn't accompany you these few nights, could you sleep well?
Constance: I didn't say I slept well.
Terrence: Let's go for dinner tomorrow.
Constance: Let me cook for you. I have learnt a few recipes from Ying jie.
Terrence: *nods* Let's go.

Constance and Terrence had a little chat on the phone before Terrence was going to leave Hong Kong (for business purposes).

The Gem of Life - Episode 42

Yes, I'm back with a promised post!
Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been terribly busy and stressed out lately. I know, I'm a really bad webmistress.

Okay, back with the post.

Sweet, sweet scene. It would have been sweeter if Terrence returned the kisses *wink wink*. Terrence asks Constance to do something that would affect Bowie's company (negatively, of course). But Constance being too in love doesn't really notice his intention.

Sylvia scolds Constance for being so naive for following her husband's orders.

The Gem of Life - Episode 40

C: Did I leave something in the office?
T: Get in the car first.
*gets in*
T: You left this.
C: You specially came here to give me a gift? You're so busy, do you have time?
T: When I was in the meeting, my mind was blank, I can only think of you. Then I felt like seeing you, so I came here to see you. Do you know, you keep me awake. Seeing you for a few minutes is better than a few cups of coffee.
C: Then I won't need to make coffee for you anymore!
T: Open the gift.
*C opens gift. The gift is a lotion!*
T: Recently you have been helping me type proposals and contracts, causing your hands to be dry.
C: Thank you.
T: I'm only thinking for myself. I wouldn't want to hold dry, rough hands.
C: Then don't hold my hands, hold someone else's!
T: I don't want to hold others' hands. *sigh* I have to go back to the office now to discuss something with Chris.
C: Ah, hold on.
*ties red ribbon at car rear view mirror*
C: Do you remember what I said the colour red represents?
T: It represents encouragement, courage and power.
C: It also represents, my eternal support and encouragement for you.
T: I have been very tired these days. But once I think about you, feeling tired is worth it. So now, I'm full of energy, I am going to sign the contract with Richard tomorrow. We will be discussing about our future plans.
C: Then don't sleep so late! Wish you all the best. Bye

Funny sister scene :)

Calvin tells Sylvia to tell Constance to inform Terrence about Richard being a cheat. But Terrence doesn't believe Calvin.

Terrence runs away from home (and is living on his yacht) because he got cheated by Richard. Constance is worried of Terrence and wants to see him. But Terrence wants to be alone.
