Constance returns home with a fever.
Derek was released on bail by Constance. She did it because she knew no one would do it. Derek wanted to get together again, but Constance refused.
Derek was heavily beaten. Constance sees him in the hospital and pays for his medical bills because she wants him to leave her alone.
